About the evening
In full arch implant dentistry, precision determines longevity. Capturing the exact 3D implant position is fundamental to achieving passive fit and minimising mechanical and biological complications. Historically clinicians have relied on varying techniques - from conventional open tray analogue impressions and splinted copings to intraoral scanning and now photogrammetry.

Dr Larry Benge - All-on-4® Dental Implant Surgeon - Next Smile Australia
Dr Larry Benge was the first person to perform All-on-4® Dental Implants in Australia. Since then, Dr Larry has completed more than 10,000+ cases. He is the main surgeon for Next Smile Australia Melbourne All-on-4® Dental Implant procedures.
Forever passionate about the art and business of dentistry, Dr Larry is one of the nation’s most respected dentists in the area of All–on–4® Dental Implants. He’s also been featured numerous times on television and radio.
Dr Larry (BDSc L.D.S, Melb) graduated in 1980 with first class honours in Dental Science from The University of Melbourne, having first completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honours at Monash University.
With over 40 years in dentistry Dr Larry’s practice now has an emphasis on reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry, specifically in All-on-4® Dental Implants.
He was trained by the inventor of All-on-4® Dental Implants, Professor Paulo Malo, which means he performs the procedure at the highest possible standard of safety and effectiveness.
Dr Lauren Fowler
Dr Lauren Fowler has worked alongside Dr Larry Benge since 2016, dedicating her clinical focus to All-on-4® treatment and complex prosthodontic rehabilitation. With a strong commitment to achieving natural, long-lasting results for her patients, Dr Fowler has undertaken extensive training in Australia and internationally in prosthodontics and the All-on-4® procedure, including advanced training with Professor Paulo Malo, the inventor of All-on-4®.
Over the years, she has restored hundreds of All-on-4® full-mouth rehabilitations at Next Smile Melbourne and now leads the Melbourne team together with Dr Benge, supporting patients through every stage of their smile transformation journey.
Dr Fowler holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Adelaide (2013) and completed a Digital Smile Design Master in 2018. She is Chair of the Nobel Biocare Global Emerging Leaders Group (Australia), a Key Opinion Leader for Nobel Biocare and Philips Sonicare, a Member of the Australian Dental Association, and has completed the University of Melbourne Surgical Implant Dentistry Master Class program.
Mr Peter Kerfoot
Peter Kerfoot is a dental prosthetist with 20 years of experience in the dental industry.
Peter qualified as a dental technician from Edinburgh Telford College, Scotland, working in the NHS system before moving to Australia in 2010. Peter has worked closely with Dr Larry Benge since 2011, completing thousands of All-on-4® appliances for Larry’s patients.
Peter qualified as a Dental Prosthetist from RMIT in 2020 and has been an integral part of Larry’s team in providing patients with the best quality of care. Peter’s attention to detail ensures a high aesthetic and function for all All-on-4® appliances.
His cheeky humour and accent are a winner with patients, and patients and staff always appreciate his knowledge and caring nature.
Peter is a proud father of two and is passionate about football and all things Scottish.
